This piece, Hyper Sonic vs Seelkadoom, was my entry for a fan art competition celebrating the long-awaited release of the final episode of Sonic RPG. After many years, the creators wanted to honor the fan community by featuring selected artwork in the game, and I was excited to create something that captured the epic intensity of this showdown.

My biggest challenge for this piece was deciding how to portray Hyper Sonic’s colour. In the original games, Hyper Sonic flashes through the colors of the rainbow, but many artists interpret him simply in white. For this piece, I aimed to combine both approaches by rendering him primarily in white but surrounding him with a rainbow glow, giving a sense of his dynamic, shifting power. I’m pleased with how this effect turned out, as it adds a unique vibrancy to the piece while staying true to Hyper Sonic’s iconic look.

Overall, The End of Seelkadoom is a tribute to the epic battles and vivid characters that make Sonic RPG unforgettable. This drawing represents both my excitement for the game’s final chapter and my connection to the fandom and I am pleased to annouce that this artwork won second place and is featured in the games gallery as well as my name in the credits!
