The Seal of Orichalcos is a card forged from darkness, known to awaken the dark hearts of all who wield it. Here, Dartz, the master of this powerful card, stands as the embodiment of its sinister energy.

This is one of my oldest pieces, originally drawn on paper before I transitioned into digital art. The Orichalcos arc has always been my favorite in the Yu-Gi-Oh! series, so once I honed my skills, I knew I had to recreate Dartz and his iconic moment. In this drawing, I focused on capturing the chilling presence of Dartz as he raises the Seal of Orichalcos, a pose that emphasizes both his power and the malevolence of the card itself—a direct nod to the anime’s unforgettable scenes.

Key elements include the Orichalcos spell and the barrier beneath Dartz’s feet, symbols of the card’s power. For the background, I chose the ominous black abyss—a setting Yu-Gi-Oh! fans may recognize as the haunting backdrop of the Divine Serpent Geh—amplifying the scene’s darkness and Dartz’s connection to the arc’s intense storyline.
