In Merry Xmas, I reimagined Yubel in a festive Christmas outfit, bringing a touch of holiday warmth to Yu-Gi-Oh!'s best character. This was a fun and creative challenge, as I worked to balance Yubel’s unique design with the cheerful colours of the season. Her outfit incorporates traditional holiday colors, blending reds and golds for a more sophisticated tone.

I aimed to capture both Yubel's signature ‘loving personality’ and the lighthearted charm of the holidays. The mix of strong shading and holiday-themed colors adds a unique twist, creating a piece that feels both playful and true to her character. With this drawing, I wanted to show a softer, more whimsical side to Yubel—proof that even the most powerful characters can have a moment to celebrate.

In this piece I also experimented with a different shading method in which I did the shading first in grayscale and overlayed the colour on top using a hard light layer.
