Hellish Avenger showcases one of my original D&D characters, Michelle Arama, clad in her hellforged armor. I created the line art initially as a character design phase and it came out looking really nice so I decided to go hard to finish it off. While I kept Michelle’s design straightforward to stay true to her character, I decided to go bold with the background to elevate the atmosphere.

This piece was my first time do fire in this way, and I wanted the flames to mirror Michelle’s fierce, avenging spirit. I’m really satisfied with how it turned out, as the fire gives the drawing a powerful, otherworldly feel that complements her hellish armor and presence.
